How do I make an exact copy of a real floppy disk?

The process of "cloning" a floppy depends on your set up.

• You have two different supported physical devices connected locally, such as KryoFlux and Greaseweazle.

  The "cloning" of a floppy is straightforward.
  1. You simply access the source disk using one device (see how),
  2. and dump it to the target disk using the other device (see how).

• You have just one supported physical device connected locally, such as just one Greaseweazle and one floppy drive.

  The "cloning" of a floppy must be split into two individual dumpings.
  1. You first dump the source floppy to a temporary image (usually a *.DSK or *.SCP image, or KryoFlux Stream files),
  2. and afterwards dump this image to the target floppy (see how).
